Steps to prepare zero pasta

Ingredients:

· One sweet onion (diced)

· Three garlic cloves (minced)

· One teaspoon of olive oil

Directions:

Melt one teaspoon of olive oil in a frying pan on medium heat. Add sweet onion and garlic. Cook until the onion is transparent. Let onion and garlic cool for five minutes, then add to a food processor or blender with one cup of fresh basil leaves. Blend until smooth. Pour “pasta” sauce into a pot on low heat and cook for ten minutes before using as spaghetti sauce.

Notes: If you are following the Atkins diet, be sure to note the number of net carbs in your sauce. Zero pasta, like real spaghetti, can be eaten with a wide variety of different sauces.
